Kevin started his career in science working in heart and neuroscience research before deciding he was more interested in technology and entrepreneurship than developing an academic career. He founded his first company when he was 20 (venture platform), followed by a recruitment platform and then the first CTO peer platform for the charity sector.
Kevin hit the reset button and started again in technology and for a decade developed a career that saw him rise to CTO level before moving to client-facing consulting roles where he advised and consulted large and complex organisations such as London City Academy, Maersk, BBC Worldwide, Bain, Channel 4, RSP, and KMC.
Kevin joined an early-stage digital health business and as CEO took from early-stage business to global market leader, launching products, raising funding, acquiring complementary businesses, and capturing 80% market share in just 3.5 years. Kevin led a global expansion that saw the business serve clients in 10 countries, with an office and team in the US, before Kevin led a successful exit.
Kevin spent a further 5 years in leadership roles in large, complex, and global AIM-listed and FTSE100 businesses with revenues ranging from £160M to £5B and people from 2,500 to 75,000. Kevin achieved significant success in these roles, including creating a business division through an acquisition, which generated £60M of sales in just 20 months, to become another market-leading company.
Kevin is a mentor for several venture accelerators, is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Cambridge Enterprise, is the founder and CEO of Datalla which is a global management consulting firm and serves on the board as chair and non-executive director for ART Health, Intelligent Health, Xploro, Psyomics, Jiva.ai and Malinko.
